Selling Crops Online Through e-NAM: A Guide for Rajasthan Farmers
By ATTPL Agritech Editorial Team · · 2 min read
How Rajasthan farmers can sell crops online through e-NAM: registration, assaying, online bidding, payment and tips to get a better price.

What is e-NAM
The National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) is an online trading platform that links agricultural produce market committees (mandis) across India. Traders can bid online, which brings more buyers and transparent prices. Many mandis in Rajasthan are integrated with e-NAM.
Registering as a farmer
- Register on the e-NAM portal or mobile app, or at the mandi
- Keep Aadhaar, bank account details and mobile number ready
- Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) can register and trade for members

How a sale works
- Bring produce to an e-NAM mandi; it is entered at the gate
- Quality is assessed (assaying) and recorded
- Traders place online bids
- The farmer accepts the winning bid
- Payment is made to the farmer's bank account
Tips for a better price
Clean, dry and grade your produce before taking it to the mandi. Check prices on the e-NAM app before travelling. Selling through an FPO can give more bargaining power.
